DVD review: Lefty Kreh on Fly Casting
Lefty Kreh loves to teach fly casting. In his DVD Lefty Kreh on Fly Casting, he will amaze you with how simple Fly Casting can be. Lefty shows you basic casting techniques, like roll casting and his famous long distance roll cast. I have this DVD and I can’t really cast without thinking about left telling me to keep my elbow on the shelf. Learning to Fly Cast takes time on the grass to get it right. Lefty will say you time and give you training techniques for that grass casting. He is the best teacher of fly casting I have ever seen.
Lefty Kreh is perhaps the best known and most respected fly-casting instructor and fly-fishing author in the world. Growing up in Maryland during the Depression, Lefty learned to fish and trap to put food on the table, earning a reputation as an accomplished fisherman while still a youngster. In 1947 he met Joe Brooks, the man who became his lifelong mentor and companion.
He has received numerous awards and accolades: Fly Rod & Reel’s “Angler of the Year,“ the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award from the American Sportfishing Association, and IGFA’s Elwood K. Harry Fellowship Award, all in 1997, and is a member of the Freshwater Fishing Hall of Fame, the Fly Fishing Hall of Fame, charter member of Saltwater Flyrodders of America, Senior Advisor to Trout Unlimited and
The Federation of Fly Fishers, and founding member of Bonefish & Tarpon Unlimited.
I hope you enjoy this DVD as much as I do.

Welcome to Fly fishing Reviews
This site is to help you by reviewing fly fishing equipment in the confusing world of fly fishing. We will have a blog and your comments are welcome. The success of a fishing trip depends on the availability of a good, fly fishing equipment. Avid fishermen will find here the spares and forgotten equipment and get all the tips and tools needed for a successful trip. Finding equipment will mean getting the ideal rod, the ideal reels and the best flies and baits to use to attract the local fish. A well stocked online shop will have rods from different companies and reels, lures, floats, traps, tackle boxes, lines, fishing nets, down riggers, outriggers, gaffs and harpoons. Sometimes, the internet is a great place to find what you are looking for because you can research your purchase before you make it. You will also have the benefit of not dealing with equipment being out of stock or back ordered. You can purchase most anything you want with the click of a mouse.
